More Retreat Pages

We enjoyed some delicious meals while we were scrappin'.

Gay cooked this delicious veggie soup and Pam made some
Mexican cornbread to go with it. Yummy

I have to admit...the following pages were painful! Gay has two sons, one graduated from Alabama the other Auburn. Need I say more.....

Pam, Helen and Evelyn did some great pages.

At the close of the day it was always nice to see a lovely sunset.

Thanks to those who gave feedback yesterday. I always love comments. As I said I am going to change the blog title. Sharon came up with several suggestions, thanks Sharon. I am also going to make it easier to follow and make comments.

I opened up my new Silhouette Cameo yesterday and began playing.
Wait 'til you see all it can do!

Field Trip to Pensacola........Brrrrrrr!

On Friday of our retreat we decided to take a break from scrapping and take a Field trip to Pensacola. We picked the coldest day there to do this! It was only about a 30-45 minute ride, but it sleeted on us most of the way.

The Bodacious Olive is located on Palafox street. It is a fun place.
If you've never been in one of these it is a treat. The olive oils and balsamic vinegars are in large containers. You get small cubes of bread and pour a sample of the oil in a small cup. After tasting the oil and vinegars you tell them which ones you want. They bottle and label it for you.

Everyone else cooks more elaborately than I do but I got some
to make salad dressings and to use to saute' fish or veggies.

These are the empty bottles they fill and label for you.

Here's the ones I selected.

If you are ever down that way check it out. Also if it is a warmer day
you can enjoy lunch at the Al Fresco food truck place.

Just have to share! Meet Bruce, out newest Grand kittie! Megan and Charlie adopted him from the Humane Society. He is a sweetie. Megan made him this cute little bed out of and old pillow and a throw I gave them to take on the train.
Great job of sewing and repurposing, Meg!

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be posting more of our pages soon. We got a light dusting of snow. Looks like those folks further south may be getting more.
 Keep warm!

Our Fifth Annual Scrappin' Retreat...2014

We had a great time at our Scrappin' Retreat at Orange Beach, Alabama.
We got lots of scrapping done. In three full days we scrapped 91 pages!!

Gay and Pam hard at work!

Helen shared with us her cute little teapot and really good herbal teas.
It was especially good since the weather was soooo cold.

Here are some of the pages we completed. We each have our own style so it's easy to figure out which pages belong to
Helen, Pam, Joanne, Gay, Edith or Evelyn.

As you can see the beach was deserted.
We never even walked out on it. But it was nice to look at!

We completed some really great pages.
Watch for more to come in the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by.
