Feels like Spring!

What a beauful spring-like day it was. We were able to paint
 outside and it was wonderful!

This little table was so cute.
I couldn't resist adding some yellow springy flowers.
I painted it with a mix of Graphite and Old white.
The top is a little lighter mix than the legs.

Here it is before.
It was a solid pine folding table I found at Goodwill for $4.

See how cute it is folded up. I plan to keep it in my car for when we go on photo shoots. Never know when you might need a spot to sit something.
This was Judy's chalkboard/bulletin board before.
Helen's small cabinet before. Found this at Goodwill too!

And Judy's board after. Painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in  Primer Red with a touch of Gold.

And here's my table all folded up. Just love it!

Helen's cabinet came out so cute. We painted the outside in Chateau Grey with Old White on the doors and Paloma inside and on the doors. Finished with clear and a touch of dark wax.

It will be the perfect spot for her teas!

So glad we can begin painting outside again. We are supposed to have some stormy weather this afternoon, tho.
We also did some scrapping last night but my pictures did not come out very well. Watch for more painting projects soon!
Thanks for visiting!

We just love Chalk Paint!

Now that the weather is getting nice everyone wants to paint anytime it is not raining. This week we painted on Friday and Saturday.
(Trying to beat the rain that is coming in today.)

The cabinet below is one Helen found at the 49 South Flea Market on our last trip. It is a piece called a Dry Sink. It was solid maple and probably from the 70's, I would guess.

We gave it a coat of Old White in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and the door panels got Country Grey. The top had a copper metal liner. It was a little rough and copper cleaner just didn't do the trick so we spray painted it with Rustoleum Metallic paint in Hammered Copper.

We found these devine knobs at Hobby Lobby. Love them!

The Emperor's silk inside and accents along the top just do the trick.

It got clear and dark wax and a few touches of copper gilding wax.
She plans to use it in her kitchen for her drink station.
We just love how it turned out! One of our favorites so far.

Here is the almost before, We had already done some sanding before I remembered the shot!

Pam finished up the horse tool box.

It was painted with ASCP in Coco with clear and dark wax. It has a little plate on the from which she plans to get monogrammed. Cute!

This is the cute telephone table Pam bought at the 49 South Flea Market. It was dark pine. Didn't get a before shot of this one. Pam painted the outside with French Linen and the inside with Graphite. She plans to use it for her fax machine in her husband's office. Paper storage underneath! Great!

The trunk was another Goodwill find. $20

Helen painted it in ASCP in Versailles. It is a great size and has wonderful storage. Helen did a great job.

As we were finishing up painting on Saturday, Helen's husband, Mark, brought us over delicious smoked brisket and chicken breasts. He cooks delicious meats that would be great for tailgaiting or other gatherings. We added a salad and had a scrumptious lunch! Thanks Mark!

We had several other items that are in progress. Hope to finish up those this week. Thanks for visiting.
